The automatic merge page is where you'll control exactly how automatic merging happens and what data is kept from the original orders when you merge your orders. This page is divided two sections: The first section is the Merging Rules - this is where you set up the rules by which the app will determine if orders are merged or not. The second is Conflict Handling - in this section you decide exactly what happens when conflicting information exists in the orders that are merged. We'll start with merging rules.

Merging Rules

We have two built-in rules that you can not delete or change. These are the customer ID is identical and the Shipping address is identical. We keep these two built-in rules to make sure there are no errors or mistakes that happen when merging orders from different customers or different shipping addresses. You can of course merge orders that have different customers IDs or shipping addresses if you want to via manual merge, but automatically these orders will not be merge. The next thing you can do is add rules to the existing two build-in once you. You can do that by clicking AND button.

AND rules - orders will be merged if all rules connected by an AND apply.

OR blocks - orders will be merged it at least one of the rules connected by an OR apply.

You can also group rules in blocks, and connected block with AND/OR (acts similar to brackets)

Manual Merge

In this tutorial we will show you on How to set up the manual merge settings step-by-step. Manual merge can combine any orders, this method doesn't require the same Customer ID and Shipping address.

Select orders

In this section we should add the order IDs, which you need to combine. We can add the order IDs here in both ways and you can combine 2+ orders here.

| 💡 TIP: The first variant: You can add the order IDs directly from the app. dashboard.

You need to select the specific order and you can find the order ID in the end of the url on the order page.

| 💡 TIP: The second variant: You can select the orders from the order list and click to merge it. This will take you directly to Manul merge page and also enter the order numbers for you.

|| 📝 NOTE: The maximum orders limit per 1 merge is 100 orders.

Conflict handling

Decide what happens when there is a conflict between 2 or more orders which are about to be merged. These will be the settings that will be saved in the new, merged order. Anything that you chose to discard will still be available at the original, a

Customer Notifications

The customer notifications page allows you to automatically notify customers when orders are being merged. You can find this feature on the top menu of the app:

By default this feature is turned off, and you can turn it on by clicking the activation toggle on the left.

Email subject line

First, you'll have to configure the email subject line, and you can use dynamic tags that will changes based on the customer/order.

Dynamic tags you can use include:

New order number
Original order numbers
Customer last name
Customer first name
Store name
refund amount
Order status
Original orders links
New order link

Store Logo

You can insert your logo by inserting a URL. The max width of the logo is 400px.

Order Merger pricing

The pricing of Order Merger is fairly simple. When you first install the app you'll have to pick a pricing plan. We've made sure our plans fit businesses in all sizes. Each plan is built from a monthly plan, monthly merge credits, and additional price per order merged once the credits are all used.

The more merges you'll need per month, the more it'll pay off picking a higher plan, since you'll be getting more merge credits and a better discount per additional order merges.

All of the features are available in all plans, and you'll be getting 14 days of free trial, no matter what plan you choose.

Switching plans

If you wish to change your plans, you can easily do that from the "select plan" page at the right side of the top menu of the app. If you have any questions or not sure what plan to choose you can always reach out to the live chat support in the bottom left side of the screen.

What plans is right for me?

Well, you're the only one who knows your business as well as you do, but if you try to calculate how many merges you'll get per month, on average about 5-10% of orders are eligible for merge with our best practice rules(same address, customer and both orders are unfulfilled). You can also just go with the merge as you go plan for the first month, and change later based on your needs.

On the Dashboard, you will have access to several manageable features, as well as displays your additional auto-merge rules and analytics.

1. You have a welcome back notice with the status of the app.

Here you can enable the automatic merge option. To enable the automatic merge option, click the "Enable automatic merge" button.

||| ⚠️ WARNING: Autoutomatic merge is turned off by default. Before enabling it, make sure you set up automatic merge as needed.

Also, you can disable automatic merge. To disable the automatic merge option, click the "Disable automatic merge" button.

2. Plan & Usage.

Your current plan will be displayed here and you will see the current cost for the additional merge.

Also, here you can change you plan. To change your plan, click one of "Change Plan" button.
